Bob Robinson — Executive Vice President
Bob Robinson began his career as an executive recruiter at CMA in 1993. He had spent the previous 10 years working with defense contractor Martin Marietta. Bob is a graduate of Seminole High School and Seminole State College. He is currently CMA’s Executive Vice President, Secondary Marketing and Capital Markets practice.
The first ten years at CMA Bob worked as a recruiter and account executive in the production and operations areas of Mortgage Banking. During this period of rapid growth in the industry CMA made thousands of placements, and Bob was involved in hundreds of those. Bob is still working with many of the companies and individuals he worked with at the beginning of his career. In the area of mortgage banking production Bob worked with retail, wholesale, correspondent and consumer direct, as well as with the mortgage insurance companies. He placed executives throughout the country at all levels: Branch Managers, Regional Managers and Senior Executives. In the area of operations Bob again placed executives nationwide at all levels. He became highly skilled at making sure the candidates he represents are cultural fits for his clients’ companies, and have all the skill sets necessary for success.
Bob broadened his experience by working with Hedge Funds, Investment Bankers and Private Equity groups. He made many placements in the Default Area of Loan Servicing and Loan Administration, and became recognized as an expert in the areas of Secondary Marketing and Capital Markets. He has also made numerous placements in the field of Warehouse Lending. Bob has worked closely with captive Property and Casualty Insurers, as well as with many of the Vendor Service companies in the industry. Bob Robinson is a member of the Mortgage Bankers Association.
Bob is a native of Florida. He and his wife live in Lake Mary, Fla. Bob has two sons and one daughter.
