Bob Skalstad — Managing Director

Bob Skalstad is an Executive Vice President and a Principal of Corporate Management Advisors (CMA). Bob has been instrumental in assisting CMA in becoming one of the nation’s leading and most respected executive search firms. From an initial recruiting focus in Banking and Mortgage Banking, CMA has broadened its reach to include Vendor Management, Settlement Services, Technology, Insurance, Real Estate and Investment Banking. Since 1984 the company has placed more than 6,150 executives.

His 30 years of experience in Financial Services, Technology, Vendor Management and Consulting has established his client list. Since 1996, Bob has been a top performer at CMA and a valued partner to many of the companies in these fields. His employment background includes national account sales, management and consulting with companies such as Unisys, TRW Information Service/Strategic Management Services, ALLTEL Information Services and Skalstad Consulting. Bob was also co-founder of CMSI.

Over the years Bob has been a leader in both the Executive Search and Consulting Practices at CMA. He has been so effective in consulting that he functioned as interim CEO in some of the client companies while conducting the executive search to build a new leadership team.

Bob received his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from the Towson State University in Baltimore, MD. His professional memberships include Mortgage Bankers Association, American Land Title Association (ALTA) and The Title Appraisal Vendor Management Association (TAVMA). He is very active as an industry speaker, conference presenter and moderator.
